Hosts the Netherlands bounced back from their Thursday defeat with a thumping win over Germany today at the VOC ground in Rotterdam as the European qualifier for the next Women's T20 World Cup continued.

German captain Asmita Kohli won the toss and asked the home side to bat first, but was probably regretting that decision as the Dutch opening pair of Phebe Molkenboer and Heather Siegers put together a partnership of 116.

That partnership ended when Molkenboer was trapped lbw by Antonia Meyenborg, with Siegers staying in, bringing up her century from 52 balls and finishing unbeaten on 106 as her team racked up a formidable 255-3,

The German reply was something of a procession. Only Rameesha Shahid reached double figures as they were bowled out for 53. Iris Zwilling was the pick of the Dutch bowlers, taking three wickets for just six runs.

It doesn't get any easier for the Germans, as they will come up against Ireland tomorrow morning. The Dutch will play Italy in the afternoon game.
