Nepal have won their second game in the ongoing CWC League 2 tri-series in Scotland, this time over the Netherlands by a margin of five wickets.
After Dutch captain Scott Edwards won the toss and chose to bat first, both openers were dismissed cheaply as Nepal's opening bowlers Sompal Kami and Karan KC started well. Vikramjit Singh and Scott Edwards then added 72 for the third wicket to prevent an early collapse.

That partnership ended when Singh was out for 38, with Edwards falling a few overs later for 46. Noah Croes' knock of 48 was the top score for the Dutch as they were bowled out for 225. Sompal Kami was the pick of the Nepali bowlers with 3-48.
Nepal's run chase wasn't as close as the game against Scotland on Monday and was instead built around a steady innings of 78 by Aarif Sheikh. He shared in an 89 run partnership for the fifth wicket with Dipendra Singh Airee, who was unbeaten on 38 when Gulsan Jha hit a six to secure a five wicket win with 2.5 overs to spare.
The next match in the tri-series will be between hosts Scotland and the Netherlands on Friday. Nepal play next on Sunday, also against Scotland.
