  • Captain: Ben Mills
  • Overseas professional: Gihahn Cloete
  • Players in: Manav Chhabra, Gihahn Cloete
  • Players out: Nathan Maguire
  • Young players to watch: Jake Montgomery, Lealand McElwee.

Glendermott have been busy over the close season on and off the field carrying out extensive ground renovations.

Ben Mills is the captain once again, and they have South African Gihahn Cloete coming as the overseas professional. He has 10,968 runs in 331 domestic games, and looks to be a real player.

They have also signed Australian student Manav Chhabra, while Bobby Rao is in as coach.

Two teenagers to keep an eye on are Jake Montgomery and Lealand McElwee.

"We are all really looking forward to the season starting now and we’ll be trying our best to build on last season," said skipper Mills who led his side to the Sperrin Springs trophy in 2022.

"Hopefully we can win another cup, and our main aim of the season will be to finish in the Premiership places.

"We’re very keen to get working under Bobby and hoping he can bring success as he has done everywhere he’s coached previously."

Glendermott start their season with a home clash against Brigade on Saturday April 29th at The Rectory.
