CSNI

  • Captain: Stuart Thompson
  • Overseas professional: Ryan Harrison
  • Players in:Ryan Harrison
  • Players out: Troy Johnson, Luke Georgeson

Stuart Thompson is at the helm once again for CSNI, who have lost a few key players but have a talented crop of youngsters coming through the ranks.

There's a new overseas professional in Ryan Harrison of Auckland Aces, with the highly recommended all-rounder hoping to fill the considerable void left by the departures of fellow countrymen Troy Johnson and Luke Georgeson.

"We have a number of exciting talented youngsters that will feature a lot this season, unfair to pick an individual player out of the five or six in contention," said club captain Stuart Thompson.

"We have a nice blend of old and new this season. As a club we want to provide young players with an opportunity to play tough league cricket whilst keeping some experienced players there to guide them through.

"We had a great run in the cups last season reaching both finals and finished strongly in the league, once again the league looks strong and there’s some very good club sides competing here but we’ll be looking to be in and amongst it once again."

CSNI start their season on April 22nd with a home clash against Derriaghy at Stormont.
