Robbie Millar's superb season in Australia continued as he helped his team to a cup final win over the weekend.

The Eglinton all-rounder has been in prolific form Down Under with the ball for his Orbost side and was among the wickets again as the Melbourne side completed a league and cup double.

Millar scored 10 as his side scored 269 against Lindenow South, and took 2 for 18 in their 148-run win.

He has now 41 wickets at just over 15 in his first stint overseas.

Nathan McGuire has also been among the wickets for East Malvern, but his side lost out in their final on Saturday.

The former Glendermott all-rounder has 43 wickets at just over 10 apiece with his off-spin, including a best-bowling return of 5-14.

He claimed 4 for 54 in a lengthy 21-overs spell, but it wasn't enough to prevent his team from a 55-run loss against Edinburgh.

McGuire is returning to Dublin side Rush for 2023.
