Young South African student Cameron Rowe is hoping to make a big impression in Leinster this summer.

The 21 year-old arrived in Ireland at the end of last summer and will be featuring for the Premier League champions in their 2023 campaign.

The former Gauteng Under 15 player who attended the prestigious St Stithians College will be in good hands at Jack Harper Park, where Head Coach Andre Botha is leading something of a cricketing revolution.

The former Irish international - inducted into the Hall of Fame last week - has won back-to-back titles and who would bet against them making it a hat-trick?

Rowe, who has been attending Leinster Lightning sessions along with his fellow countryman Adam Rosslee, is described as a talented batting all-rounder.

He has also featured for the Lions Under 19s and Academy, and looks an exciting long-term prospect for the club.

Exciting times indeed at Balbriggan.
