Fox Lodge captain Aaron Heywood is expecting a tough challenge as the Ballymagorry side begin their title defence of the North West Senior Cup with an away day trip to Bonds Glen.

"There are some cracking ties in the draw, and our tie away at Bonds Glen is one of those that stand out, as well as a few others," Heywood told CricketEurope.

"We would have hoped to be starting with a home draw, but it is what it is, and we will look forward to our trip to the Bee Gees.

"It's by no means an easy draw as they have played some really good cricket over the last few years. They are doing some great things up there on and off the field and are rightly highly regarded for their efforts.

"It will be a really tough challenge but one that we will look forward to. I've always enjoyed playing there and hopefully it will be a really great game."

The first round ties are being played on Saturday May 13th.
