Jack Carson has been included in the England Lions Test squad for their two-match tour of Sri Lanka.

The 22 year-old former Waringstown all-rounder has impressed at Sussex, and was also in the Lions squad that spent time in the UAE last year.

Carson played international youth cricket for Ireland before moving to Sussex to play and study.

The red-ball tour will begin with a three-day warm-up match in Colombo on January 25 before two four-day Tests against Sri Lanka A in Galle.
