Instonians have confirmed the return of Daniel Rose for the 2023 campaign.

The New Zealander played 11 matches for the Shaws Bridge side earlier this season, taking 15 wickets at 21.87, showing his potential with a five-wicket haul against league champions Lisburn.

His batting efforts were modest, averaging just over ten, with his best effort of 26 coming against Cliftonville Academy.

"Daniel has agreed terms and will be back playing for us next year," said a club spokesperson.

"He made a very favourable impression with all of us on and off the field, and we look forward to his return."

The 25 year-old is an Irish passport holder and will further strengthen an Instonians side looking to end a barren run in recent times.
