Saintfield will play Derriaghy in the T20 Trophy final after they edged out Muckamore by nine runs in a thrilling semi-final at Moylena.

Kadeem Alleyne's brutal assault saw him hit 5 sixes and 4 fours in an 18-ball half-century to power the Saints to 167 for 8 - 20s too for TJ McCavera, Patrick Telford and Ross Murray.

Kyllin Vardhan hit 12 fours in a quickfire 60 to get the Muckamore chase up and running, with Jamie Magowan chipping in with 21.

Ewan Wilson (33) looked to be steering Muckamore home, but his dismissal with 13 needed off 8 balls, proved decisive - the hosts managing only three.

That completed a miserable day for Muckamore, who lost captain Sam Gordon and Stuart Dempster, who have opted to switch to promotion favourites Derriaghy.
