Waringstown joined CSNI in the semi-finals of the T20 Cup with a convincing 91-run win over a shell-shocked Instonians at Shaw's Bridge.

Chasing 144, the home side collapsed to 24 for 9, and it took a last wicket stand of 28 between James Magee (14) and Ben Beattie (13) to give the scoreline a semblance of respectability.

Jamie Gibson removed openers Dickson and Rose, James Mitchell accounted for Andy White while Rory Bessell dismissed Shane Getkate and Robert McKinley. Three wickets for Ben Snell and a first senior scalp for Josh Froggatt had the innings in tatters, and the contest effectively over.

Earlier, after Andy White (2/8) had dismissed Lee Nelson and Jamie Gibson cheaply, a third wicket stand of 77 in 8 overs between Adam Dennison and Greg Thompson got the visitors on top.

'Denny' top-scored with 61, while Greg Thompson made 44 - both hitting 6 fours and a six as Waringstown posted 143 for 4.

Adam Dennison scored 61

It proved 91 too many for the hosts on a night to forget for them.
