There is a new professional at The Lawn with New Zealander Jamie Gibson arriving, while Ross Allen has joined from the North West.

Gibson is a fast-medium bowling all-rounder from Wellington, while Allen is a left-arm spinner who was instrumental in Brigade's four trophy season in 2021.

Lee Nelson is at the helm once again, and he is backing the defending champions to capture silverware in what is always a hard-fought Premier Division.

"Iíve been very happy over the course of the winter with how the squad has been assembled and everyone is very much looking forward to this coming season," said Nelson.

"I was delighted that Ross chose to sign with us , his performance last year in the NW cup final stood out as someone who could fill the void left by Gary Kiddís retirement and thatís given us a boost.

"We have a new professional in Jamie Gibson and in particular Iím looking forward to seeing the development of the younger guys who came into last seasons title winning side and the experience they gained from that.

"The standard in the league now is as high as I can remember and whoever comes out on top will certainly be deserving. Itís our aim to be competing for that come the end of the summer."
