CIYMS will have South African Keith Dudgeon in their ranks for the 2022 campaign.

Dudgeon is a bowling all-rounder who has an impressive record in South African first-class cricket with 170 wickets at just over 24, while in List A cricket his haul is 45 wickets at 23.

A former U19 international, he is also a more than capable late-order batter, with three half centuries to his name.

The 25 year-old has previous UK experience, playing in the England in the Notts Premier League with Hucknall in 2018, where he claimed 42 wickets at 23.19.

CIYMS had initially targeted New Zealander Seth Rance, but that deal didn't get over the line, and Dudgeon looks an excellent acquisition.

The Belmont side endured a disappointing league campaign by their high standards, but did manage to collect yet another Challenge Cup with an emphatic win over North Down.
