Yeates too continued his rich vein of form as he made 51, while Luca Bates (20) also chipped in again.

The NCU youngsters finished on 212, with two wickets apiece for Yousaf Shah, Daniel Sugrue and Raif Duncan.

A wonderful series which was seriously competitive at times, with a fine array of talent on view. Well done to the unions for organizing and giving the youngsters some much needed competitive action at interprovincial level.
