Lightning Bolts beat Munster Heat by 35 runs to win their sixth game in succession in the Emerging Interprovincial series to clinch the inaugural title with two games still to play.
Rory Anders was the Man-of-the-Match as he top scored with 40 in an impressive batting display by the Dubliners which saw the top six all make at least 20.
Anders shared an opening stand of 66 with Louis McDonough (21), while the others making runs were Seamus Lynch (27), Mitchell Thompson and Jack Carty - 20 apiece - plus a late 28 not out in just 11 balls from Ali Frost (2 fours, 2 sixes) as the Bolts made 183 for 6.
Seven Munster players reached double figures in the chase, but in truth they never threatened the target, with Brandon Kruger's 31 the highlight of their 148 all out.
Anders (2-3) completed a fine all-round day in the Mardyke sun, while others taking two wickets included David O'Halloran, Cillian McDonnell and Gavin Hoey.
Lightning Bolts have two trips to the North West next week, taking on Emerging Warriors in a T20 contest at Drummond on Monday and a 45-overs game at Ardmore next Wednesday.
With the title already in the bag, Head Coach Nigel Jones may be tempted to experiment a little with his playing resources.
