Munster Heat fought back superbly to beat Ireland Under 19s by 61 runs (DLS) at The Mardyke.
The hosts looked to be heading for defeat as they slumped to 124 for 8 batting first, but a ninth wicket stand of 97 in 23 overs between Jack Buss (56) and Diarmuid Carey (38) saw them recover to 221.
Hashir Sultan made 32, while Josh Uddina nd Murtaza Siddiqui each made 22.
Jamie Forbes (3-35), Mark Tong (3-45) and skipper Tim Tector (2-17) were the main wicket takers.
In a rain-interrupted chase, the Irish teenagers batters couldn't get to grips with the home side attack, as they were dismissed for 146 - Harvey Wootton taking three wickets.
Luke Whelan, Muzamil Sherzad, David Vincent and Mark Tonge all got into the 20s but none could go on to play the substantial innings required.
