Cregagh defeated Saintfield for the second time in four days, as they followed up their league success on Saturday with a 40 run victory in the first of the T20 Trophy semi-finals.

Choosing to bat first it was Cregagh opener Jay Hunter's 64 that was the backbone of the home side's total of 147/6.
When he fell in the sixteenth over, the first of Adam Sofley's two wickets, it was left to the Boultwood brothers, Chris (19) and Ross (18) to add the flurry of boundaries that ensure the final total was out of Saintfield's reach.

The visitors' reply got off to a shaky start and it was only a fifty-one run partnership between Gareth Harrison (27) and Andrew McCavera (50) that kept them in the game.
When they both departed, unlike Cregagh, the tail failed to wag and they were bowled out in the final over still 40 runs short of the home total.

Cregagh into the Final then, where their opponents will be either Ballymena or Muckamore who are scheduled to play before the end of this week.
