Max Burton's (pictured right)brilliant century ensured Cliftonville Academy progressed in the NCU Senior Challenge Cup, while Jamie Rogers starred as Armagh edged out Saintfield in the other preliminary round game.
Burton scored 128 out of his side's total of 207, hitting 16 fours and 7 sixes in his 85-ball innings.
He shared a fourth wicket stand of 86 with Robbie Moffett, who was next top scorer with 22.
Matthew McCord then claimed four wickets for just seven runs, and Brian Anderson 2 for 15 as Bangor were skittled for just 81.
The other match was by complete contrast an absolute thriller, with Armagh coming out five run winners against Saintfield.
Half centuries from Jamie Rogers (71) and Colin Russell (53) saw The Mall side post 219 for 8 - three wickets apiece for Patrick Telford and Mark Yeates.
Rogers then ensured the Man of the Match award was a formality as he took five wickets to deny the Saints, despite the best efforts of Ryan Smyth (65), Andrew McCavera (41) and Adam Reid (30).
Armagh will now face CSNI in the first round proper on Saturday July 3rd, while Cliftonville Academy's reward is a home tie against North Down.
