Half centuries from captain Gaby Lewis and fellow Irish international Shauna Kavanagh led the Scorchers to a 105-run win over the Typhoons, completing a 4-1 series win in the Super 50 Cup at Pembroke.
Lewis , the competition's leading run scorer, hit ten boundaries in her 56 from 54 balls, sharing an opening stand of 87 in 16 overs with Merrion left-hander Leah Paul (29) which laid a solid platform for the Scorchers.
Player of the Match Kavanagh, playing on her home ground, ensured there would be no collapse, making 53 from 77 balls (4 fours), enjoying solid partnerships with Lara Maritz (16), Jenny Sparrow (14), Sophie MacMahon (18) and Cara Murray (19).

Ava Canning and Celeste Raack each took two wickets as the Scorchers posted 241 for 9.
The Typhoons lost Rachel Delaney and Louise Little early in the chase, and in truth never challenged the total.
Orla Prendergast hit four boundaries in a breezy 22, while Raack dug in for a top score of 42 from 84 balls (2 fours) in a final total of 136.
Australian Ashlee King impressed with her 3-13, while there were two wickets apiece from Sophie MacMahon (2-18) and Cara Murray (2-31).
The teams now switch to the T20 format, hopefully in preparation for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers, which are due to be held in Scotland at the end of August.
