After not being played last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic - the first time the match was missed since 1956 when (and this is absolutely true) Jersey forgot to select a team - the old rivalry between the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey will resume this year with a 50 over match at the splendid Farmers Field in Jersey.

Matches at Under-11, Under-13, Under-15 level will also be played, and a three match T20I series will be contested between the women's sides.

The Guernsey Press reports that additional inter-island matches may be arranged subject to Jersey's international commitments. They are set to host a CWC Challenge League tournament in September though visitors from all participating countries currently face five days (ten in the case of Kenya) of isolation on entry to Jersey which may make the tournament logistically difficult should the situation not improve in the next three months.
