Muckamore are the first side into the semi-finals of the NCU T20 Trophy after a five wickets win against Cliftonville Academy at Moylena.

Max Burton hit 11 fours and 2 sixes as he and Neil Cahill (28) shared an opening stand of 119 in 15 overs which put Cliftonville Academy in a position of strength.

Stephen Dempster's three late wickets ensured no late flurry of runs, as CA finished on a total of 155 for 3.

Adam McDaid (2) went early in the chase, but Ewan Wilson (43) and skipper Sam Gordon (37) kept the Moylena side in contention.

With 42 needed from the last four overs, Jamie Magowan  (38) and Chris Keenan  (15)plundered 20 from the 17th, including three sixes, to put them ahead of the game.

Despite both falling with the finishing line in sight, Muckamore got the seven needed from the last over despite a few nerves as the equation became five off three - Luke Allen's boundary proving crucial.
