Gaby Lewis top scored with 60 in a Player of the Match display to lead her side to victory in the opening game of the Super 50 Cup at Pembroke.
The Irish opener overcame a sluggish start to hit nine boundaries in an innings that grew in fluency, dominating an opening stand of 74 in 17 overs with Leah Paul (16).

Cara Murray was bowled by Zara Craig for 0, and when Lewis was trapped lbw by Irish skipper Laura Delany the momentum looked to have turned.
However solid partnerships of 45, 41 and an unbroken 42 saw the Scorchers recover to post 221 for 5.
Shauna Kavanagh made 48, while Sophie MacMahon (38*) and Lara Maritz (20*) gave the innings late impetus.
The Typhoons started their chase in similar fashion with Rachel Delaney (21) and Rebecca Stokell (20) sharing an opening stand of 42, before Ashlee King bowled Stokell.
The Western Australian contracted player overcame a shaky start to show just what she is capable of, being comfortably the quickest bowler on show.
The introduction of spinners Leah Paul and Cara Murray saw wickets fall regularly and at 110 for 5, it looked as if a comfortable win was on the cards.
However a sixth wicket stand of 74 in 15 overs between Loulou Little (42) and Celeste Raack (40*) offered hope.
That ended with Murray's third wicket courtesy of an excellent sprawling catch by Lewis, and with Paul also claiming three scalps, a 14-run was secured,
"I thought the team played excellent today," said Gaby Lewis at the post-match presentation.
"Lara Marirz and Ashlee King bowled well and I thought the spinners Cara Murray and Leah Paul were superb, plus Sophie MacMahon up front, an excellent all-round bowling performance.
"We had pace on the ball in the middle which worked for a time then changed it up with the spin combination. We took wickets at the right time which was perfect, and we broke that partnership between Loulou Little and Celeste Raack just when it was needed.
"Great to start the seven match series with a win, and we have back-to-back games next weekend at Pembroke and Leinster. Thereís a few heavy legs but itís just brilliant to be back playing again.
