CSNI seamer Matthew Foster turned in an impressive display for Cardiff UCCE against Derbyshire in their drawn three-day match.
The 21 year-old claimed 2 for 62 in 18 overs in the first innings, taking the wickets of Wagstaff and McKiernan.
He then followed that up with 10-3-26-1 in the second innings, claiming the scalp of opener Wood.
Foster has played six times in the interpros, playing on four occasions for the Northern Knights, plus twice for Munster Reds.
However he hasn't been named among the initial 48 players named by the governing body for the 2021 season, and will be hoping impressive early season form will impress Knights coach Simon Johnston should a bowling opportunity arise.
