Leinster Under 13s brought the curtain down on the youth interprovincial season with another emphatic win against the North West in the second game of their series at Burndennett.

Half centuries from Dan Murray (60), and Ethan Marshall (50), helped Leinster post 229 for 8 in their 40 overs, finishing the second half of the innings strongly having been on a precarious 83 for 5 after 20 overs.

There were runs too for Lorcan Craik (26*), while there were three wickets apiece for Swarnim Jha and St Johnston's Pratham Goud.

The hosts were blown away by the Leinster attack, with only skipper Sam Haslett's excellent 53 saving them from a total rout as they were dismissed for 89.

Clontarf all-rounder Ethan Marshall picked up three wickets, as did Raif Duncan, while Brian Dunphy - who scored a century for Ireland Under 13s earlier this month - also picked up two wickets in the 140-run win.
