Leinster U11s sealed a series win against the Northern Cricket Union with a 47 run win in Match 3 of their four match series.

The third of the scheduled series of games between Leinster and The NCU was played at Ringcommons on Thursday with Leinster again batting first and setting a total that they were able to defend.

With the first game scheduled for the same venue washed out on Monday, the home side went into this match leading 1-0 after their win at Shaw's Bridge on Tuesday.

For Leinster Ryan Keenan top scored with 23 and Tuesday's MOM Callum Armstrong was again in the runs scoring 20.
Leinster totalled 131/8 in their 30 overs with Elliott Parkhill the best of the NCU bowlers taking 2-9.

The Northern Union could only muster 84 in reply, bowled out with two overs unused. Luke Crothers (20) their top scorer while there were impressive bowling figures from Ted Hasler who took three wickets for only 1 run.

The final match in the series is scheduled for Shaw's Bridge tomorrow (Friday) when the home side will be keen to narrow the gap and the visitors will be seeking a clean sweep of victories.
