Woodvale could be close to pulling off a major coup with the signing of Ruhan Pretorius.
The Ballygomartin side have been in talks with the 29 year-old South African and are believed to have signed a deal.
It's a real statement of intent by the club who earlier this year also captured former Irish international James Hall.
Pretorius as released from his contract last month by North Down, and was keen to remain in the NCU despite interest from Dublin and Derry for his services.
He is an integral part of the Northern Knights set-up and that has almost certainly played a part in his decision to join the Belfast club.
Now based in Northern Ireland, Ruhan is in the process of qualifying for Ireland, becoming eligible in April 2022.
