Netherlands seamer Shane Snater has signed a new one-year deal with Essex.
The 24 year-old has been with the successful county since 2018, and played six times in the T20 Blast during the abbreviated 2020 campaign.
"Shane is a trusted and reliable player," said Essex Head Coach Anthony McGrath.
"Although he's not always found game time easy to come by, he's always put in a shift whenever he's played."
Zimbabwean born Snater has played 13 T20I's and two ODIs for the Netherlands, as well as featuring in their InterContinental Cup side, making his debut in 2016 and taking five wickets against Ireland at Malahide in 2017.
