CSNI have signed Ben White from Phoenix.
White is a former Ireland Under 19 international leg-break bowler and a more than useful right-handed batsman.
The 22 year-old has become frustrated at his inability to break into the Leinster Lightning ranks, and is moving North to increase his chances at interprovincial level.
(Ben White played in the 2016 Under 19 World Cup)
"It's great to have Ben signing for CSNI and indeed stating his intentions to play for the Knights," said CSNI Director of Cricket Gary Wilson.
"He’s clearly an ambitious guy and has made the no doubt difficult decision to switch unions in order to give himself the best chance of playing for Ireland.
"I think for that he deserves a lot credit."
White's move will help fill the void left in the leg-spin department caused by the decision of Jacob Mulder to return to his native Australia.
