Paul Stirling has been selected to play in the Sri Lankan T20 competition.

The 30 year-old will be playing for the Dambullah Hawks in the five-team competition which gets under way on November 21st and will have 23 matches played over 15 days.

The event has been pushed back a week as overseas players are required to quarantine for two weeks on arrival.

Among Stirling's team mates are Samit Patel and Carlos Brathwaite.

Stirling played for Northants Steelbacks in this season's T20 Blast, with team mates Gareth Delany featuring for Leicestershire and Andy Balbirnie for Glamorgan.
