Carrickfergus have made their third signing of the close season with the capture of Graeme McCarter from CSNI.

McCarter spent five seasons at the Stormont club whom he joined from Coleraine in December 2015, after helping the Bannsiders to a league title.

He is also an integral part of the Northern Knights interpro side, having previously played for the NW Warriors, and won seven caps for Ireland while playing county cricket with Gloucestershire.

He was part of the Ireland U19 squads in both the 2010 and 2012 tournaments in New Zealand and Australia.

Carrick last month announced the return of overseas player Jacques Snyman, and the signing of former Glamorgan all-rounder Jeremy Lawlor from Phoenix.
