Punjab Lions won their first Cyprus T20 Trophy beating Riyaan by 36 runs in the decider.
Gurpartap Singh took full advantage of an early reprieve to top score with 87, in which he cleared the roped ten times and also hit four boundaries.
Thanks primarily to his efforts, Punjab Lions finished on 179-7, which was a challenging total given the pressure of a final.
Skipper Neeraj Tiwari ensured the trophy went to the Lions with a crucial double-wicket maiden, despite 39 from top scorer Rehman, as they made 143.
Singh was named Man of the Match in the final.
They were some consolation for Rehman as he was awarded the MVP and Best Batsman of the tournament, as well as collected a special shield for his 251 not out in the game against Limassol Gladiators.
Ravi Kumar of Moufflons received the bowling accolade.
