The Cyprus T20 cup has reached the semi-final stages with two mouth watering clashes set for decision this weekend.

The first tie sees Punjab Lions facing Moufflons, while in the second contest Riyaan will take on Sri Lanka Lions Limassol - both games at Ypsonas, with the winners going forward to the final on October 11th.

The final group fixtures saw two high scoring games with Nicosia fighters beating Limassol Gladiators thanks to a half century from Man of the Match Abdullah Al Tasmin which saw them total 234 for 7 in their 20 overs.

Faheem Rehan did his best with a counterattacking 81 but it was to no avail as his side lost by 38 runs.

The second game saw Kumara hit 115 and Sadun 61 as the Lions plundered 267 for 3. That proved 102 too many for Amdocs despite the best efforts of Swaroop with a half century.

The loss meant Amdocs finished the campaign without a win, while the victory will be a real confidence booster for the Lions ahead of their semi-final.
