Tuesday's scheduled interprovincial T20 clash between MTB Northern Knights and Leinster Lightning has been postponed.

Storm Francis has wreaked havoc across Northern Ireland with the East coast being particularly hard hit.

The conditions at Comber this morning led officials to call the match off after 9 o'clock, to save Leinster players a fruitless journey.

Under normal circumstances the game wouldn't be replayed, but given the already abbreviated nature of the season, there may be the possibility of the match being rescheduled.

However, it could be problematic getting it slotted in as the season enters its final few weeks.

The next scheduled games are this Thursday when Leinster host the NW, while Munster make the long trek to Stormont to play the MTB Northern Knights.
