The NW Warriors have major injury concerns ahead of their opening T20 interpro clash with defending champions Northern Knights at Bready on Thursday.

Conor Olphert has been ruled out as he continues to recuperate from a quad muscle injury, while Boyd Rankin is also extremely doubtful with an ongoing back problem.

Graham Kennedy sustained a recent finger injury which saw him miss the last two Warriors intra-squad matches, but he did play in both of Ballyspallen's losses at the weekend.

There were rumours that William Porterfield could also miss the game, but these have been dismissed, and the former Ireland captain will play.

The NW are expected to make an announcement on Tuesday morning updating the status of their squad once replacement(s) have been finalized.
