Fox Lodge stay top of the Women's League after Sarah Black starred in a comprehensive nine-wicket win against a young Bready side at Ballymagorry.

It's been quite a week for Black, who was instrumental in the NW's 9-wicket victory against the NCU in the inaugural Under 23 interprovincial earlier this week.

Batting first Bready were restricted to 53 for 8 in the 16-over game, with only Alana Dalzell (21) able to master the disciplined Foxies attack.

Mollie Devine (3-9), Kara Bates (2-9) and Sarah Black (1-17) the successful bowlers, while there were two run outs.

Black then top-scored with an unbeaten 31, striking four boundaries as she shared a second wicket stand of 40 with Mollie Devine (10*).

Kaylee Barnard took the only wicket to fall as Fox Lodge passed their target in the 10th over.

Fox Lodge on this form look strong favourites to capture silverware as the season enters its final stages.
