David Delany will play for the MCC against a Fingal Development XI in a T20 fixture at Rush next week.

The Clontarf speedster missed Ireland's ODI series against England as he continues his recuperation from knee surgery over the winter.

There's a strong Castle Avenue influence in the side including Conor D'Arcy, Greg Molins, Shariful Islam, Conor Kelly and Ehtesham Ahmed.

Former Ireland Wolves skipper Jack Tector is included as is Pembroke's Irish Cup winning skipper Fiachra Tucker.

The match is the MCC's only fixture in Ireland in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic and is a great chance for supporters to watch high quality cricket.

The game takes place at Kenure, next Wednesday August 12th (2pm).
