YMCA may be without three internationals but while Curtis Campher, Harry Tector and Simi Singh were starring for Ireland on Saturday, the D4 side claimed their second win in Group B of the League Cup with a five-wicket success over previously unbeaten North County.

Tectorís younger brother Tim top scored with 43 not out, from just 21 balls, as YM passed the visitors 117-6 with seven balls to spare. Malahide are the only unbeaten team in that section after seeing off Railway Union by 13 runs, Cameron Shoebridge taking four wickets as the Park Avenue side were restricted to 100-6.

There were first wins for Clontarf, by 27 runs over The Hills with Robert Forrest hitting 71 and Terenure who had 26 runs to spare against Balbriggan, which included 84 from Seamus Lynch in the winnerís 169-4.

Merrion won the top of the table clash in Group A in convincing style by 112 runs with John Anderson, taking advantage of a couple of lives to score 74 in the dayís highest total of 172-4 in Phoenix Park.

Pembroke and Leinster joined Phoenix on two wins out of three with victories over Rush and North Kildare respectively. Saqib Bahudar enjoyed a good day for the Rathmines side with 37 and four wickets for just eight runs.
