There were two bits of good news for Bready all-rounder Alana Dalzell who will captain the NW Under 19 girls side, as well as being named in the Super 50 Women's interpro squads along with Eglinton's Zara Craig.

The interprovincial match against the NCU takes place at Coleraine on Friday (1:30pm), and Dalzell is relishing the opportunity to take on the Belfast side.

"I'm excited for Friday's match and confident with the squad we have." she began.

"The girls were eager to get back to cricket and they've performed really well at training despite the months off due to the virus.

"We have a great mix of girls who I'm sure will work hard on Friday and also the rest of the series."
