There's a new skipper at 'Clooney as well with Timmy Dougherty another player to be given the armband for the first time ahead of the new season.

And there was no hiding the fact that the new-look T20 competition sits very well with the rest of his team mates when the captain assessed their chances for the weeks ahead.

"We have plenty of boys who like to see how far they can hit it, so T20 won't bother us" he laughed.

"We have no changes to the team this year as far as I know.

"Fair play to them for coming up with a good set-up for the matches. We have Donemana, Ardmore and Bonds Glen in our group and we wouldn't normally get the chance to play the Premier teams.

"We all have a chance now and that gives everybody plenty to look forward to. We're definitely raring to go so roll on the weekend.!"

The Tyrone outfit get their season up and running with a visit from neighbouring Bee Gees with a 2pm start on Saturday.
