Scotland Head Coach Shane Burger has told the BBC that it makes sense to postpone the T20 World Cup.
The Scots qualified for the tournament which was due to get under way in Australia in three months time on October 18th.
However that looks increasingly unlikely given the latest lockdown restrictions in place following another outbreak of Covid-19.
Melbourne is in the midst of a six-week lockdown period, and with the city slated to host games, it appears now that a postponement is inevitable.
"To get 16 teams coming into a country with fans, it just seems very unrealistic," Burger told the BBC.
The ICC are due to make a decision on the fate of the competition shortly.
