Eddie Richardson continues as skipper, while John Mooney is back at Balrothery as Head Coach.

Those two will ensure there is a solid spine to the club.

The loss of Jamie Grassi to Phoenix is a blow as he was adding consistency to his obvious talent, but on the credit side Salman Aziz has joined from nearby Balbriggan.

"I'm looking forward to the season, and we have a nice blend of youth and experience," Richardson told CricketEurope.

"Our main focus this year will be on enjoying our cricket and improving as a team.

"We have a good crop of youngsters and three in particular to keep a close eye on are Luke Whelan who is a quality wicket-keeper, young batsman John Devane, and seamer Owen Graham, who did very well when called upon last season."

They start the season with home derbies against Balbriggan (July 18) and The Hills (July 25), before an away day trip to YMCA.
