Davy Scanlon loses a trio of players for the 2020 season- Marcus Poskitt, Andy Lucas and Ross Dougherty all heading out of Magheramason, however the Bready skipper certainly wasn't downbeat when he spoke of his team's prospects.

'Sca' believes that this year is something of a free hit for clubs and says it presents an ideal opportunity to give some younger players their chance to shine.

"Overall it's great to get back playing although obviously the Union's hands were tied this year. I actually don't mind T20 cricket and who knows, if this goes well it might encourage clubs to pay more attention to this format from now on.

(Bready captain Davy Scanlon)

"Our under-15's lost out in the All-Ireland final last season and players like Brooke Crumley, James McKillop and Kat Bhavsar will definitely feature in our First XI this year.

"It might be a short season but I think it has the potential to be really exciting. Championship clubs will be a lot more comfortable at the thought of playing over the shorter format and there is every chance there will be surprises along the way.

"We're looking forward to it. It's been a long wait so hopefully the weather is kind and we can make the most out of what is left."

Bready are in the same group as Tyrone rivals Strabane, Fox Lodge and Burndennett.

They start with an away trip to Burndennett (July 18th), then home to Strabane (25th), Fox Lodge (Aug 1), Burndennett (8th), before finishing with trips to Strabane (15th) and Fox Lodge (22nd).
