The one place few sides will relish heading to for T20 cricket this season will be The Holm and there's a new sheriff in town as William McClintock takes over the captaincy at Donemana.

Former skipper Andrew Riddles is unlikely to feature for the Tyrone outfit this season and obviously there will be no overseas pro either.

Vice-captain Andy McBrine is likely to miss most of the new-look competition due to International commitments.

Elsewhere there's a similar look to the squad and the new skipper remained bullish about his side's chances.

(New Donemana captain William McClintock)

"We've always been strong in T20's and I don't see any reason why it won't be the same this year. We like to play attacking cricket and we're ready to go.

"We have a good squad and everyone is excited about getting started.

"I'm happy that we have the chance to play for the senior cup and it is absolutely our target to win it."

This will of course be music to the North West who punted on putting up their Blue Riband trophy in the hope of enticing the top Premiership sides in this truncated campaign.

It seems the former champions certainly know what they're after as they host fellow top-flight outfit Ardmore first up in a game which could well be the decisive factor in who tops the group.
