It will be a strange season for the Beechgrove club this time around having no doubt been looking forward to defending the league and cup crowns they had collected in 2019.
Skipper Andy Britton admitted ahead of their first training session last week that he was a bit underwhelmed at the prospect of a T20 summer, however the mood had changed a bit since.
"It was actually great to get the boys together and the craic was good. It's one of those things that the season has been hit so hard but to be honest the general feeling among the squad is that any cricket is better than none.

"Having the senior cup on the table is a big factor. We want to play for the big trophies and although it's T20, it's still the senior cup. Maybe we'll have the chance to play a few more overs for the semi's and final if the rules allow."
In terms of his personnel, 'Britz' will be missing three of his panel from last season- Johnny Thompson and Gareth McKeegan joining Newbuildings with Jonny Robinson believed to heading to Fox Lodge.
On the flip side Ryan Hunter and Simon Olphert are added to ease some of the pain.
The Beechgrove boys will be very hard to beat once again and they get things going with a home game against St Johnston on the 18th.
That said, it's a tough group to top with fairly strong Glendermott and Newbuildings teams likely to provide plenty of challenges.
