The NCU has announced that the shortened 2020 season will start on July 18th.

Premier League clubs will play a single round of fixtures with the top four going on to contest semi-finals for a place in a Final.
They will also take part in a T20 Knockout Cup, the winners of which will progress to the National T20 Finals.

Section One sides will also complete a single round of fixtures and their views are being sought at a 'zoom' meeting on Thursday regarding the possibility of a T20 competition.

Sections 2 and 3 have been amalgamated and geographical sections created playing home and away with section winners playing off for the 'title'.

Junior League 1 will play reversed Premier League fixtures and the rest of the Junior leagues will play in geographical sections.

Details of the actual fixtures have yet to be confirmed but in their early planning the NCU had drawn up fixtures based on a start date of 18th July so a possible schedule is already to hand.

So at last some certainty about the season albeit at a time when the weather has become less so.
