There were mixed results for Reykjavik in the second round of the Icelandic Premier League at the weekend.

They recorded an emphatic win against Hafnarfjörður, who after surprisingly opting to bat after winning the toss found themselves skittle for 86.

Skipper Sadun Lankathilaka was the pick of the attack claiming 2 for 11, and 45 from Chamley Fernando saw them ease to a five wicket win with eight overs to spare. Lee Nelson did his best to take 2 for 10 in a losing cause.

However they didn't enjoy such good fortunes against Kopavogur, who dismissed them for 100.

Derick Deonarain made an unbeaten 21, while best with the ball was Ramachandran Gujapan, who picked up 3 for 10.

Sadun was yet again among the wickets as he did his best for Reykjavik, but in spite of his haul of 3 for 15, Kopavogur won by four wickets with Leslie Dcunha making 33.

The league continues this weekend.
