Balbriggan Welcome More Youth Into the Squad

Balbriggan have been boosted by the signing of Harry Archer from Rush, and South African Andrew Darroch.

They will also have on board Andrew Darroch, who is an Irish passport holder who moved to Ireland from South Africa before Christmas to work.

Andrew has played Provincial U-19, University and Premier Club Cricket in South Africa.

He is a seam bowling all-rounder who is sure to be a tremendous asset for them.

A Balbriggan spokesperson told CricketEurope:

"The club are in pre-season training at present, and look to have assembled a decent squad with an emphasis on youth, sprinkled with a little experience.

Led by Nathan Rooney again, they are looking forward to the start of the season. To have a young player with Harry's potential and all round ability coming into the squad is excellent news.

"Balbriggan are hoping Harry and Andrew will show their skills and enjoy their cricket this summer around the LCU and at the Jack Harper Memorial Ground.
