The draw for the first round of the North West Senior Cup was made yesterday and holders Brigade are involved in the only all-Premiership game.

For the first time the draw was seeded but with nine teams in the Premiership this year two top flight teams were certain to meet and Brigade were drawn away to Ballyspallen who finished bottom last season.

Indeed, last year’s top four were all drawn away with cup specialists Donemana meeting Burndennett and league runners-up Eglinton facing St Johnston.

Senior Cup 1st round draw:

Glendermott v Bonds Glen
St Johnston v Eglinton
Strabane v The Nedd
Burndennett v Donemana
Bready v Fox Lodge
Newbuildings v Ardmore
Coleraine v Killyclooney
Ballyspallen v Brigade.
