Belfast side CIYMS have been drawn in Group D of the European Cricket League.

They will meet Dreux CC (France), MCC Barcelona and Skanderborg Stingrays (Denmark) in the 16 team tournament scheduled to be held in Spain between May 31 and June 7th.

The All-Ireland T20 champions may well be forced to field half of their second XI due to clashes with three matches in the Irish Interprovincial Cup.

Talks are believed to be ongoing in an attempt to find a compromise but it appears highly unlikely that the interpro fixtures will be switched to accommodate the clashes with the European tournament.
