Adam Coughlan is making a return to Malahide from North County, the club he left as a teenager back in 2010.

The 27 year-old all-rounder is a former Ireland A and Under 19 international, who enjoyed a successful time at Balrothery.

He scored 2492 runs at 20.10, with 13 fifties and a highest score of 110 against Leinster in the senior cup.

In addition he claimed 151 wickets at 27.71 with his off-spin, having a best bowling return of 5 for 20 against Cork County.

Coughlan didn't feature at all during the 2019 season, and his return to action will be a very welcome one.

Malahide had earlier in the week announced the signing of Alistair and Mike Frost, two talented Irish passport holders keen to make an impression on the Ireland selectors.
